Jupiter Medical Center and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine have entered into an affiliation agreement to give the Palm Beach County hospitalaccess the resources available at the university teaching hospital. The companies said the agreement provides greater availability of specialists actively involved in academic and clinical medicine and a streamlined process for patients who may require additional care through the University of Miami Health System. “Affiliation with a world-class teaching and research institution brings new dimensions to JMC and gives our already outstanding physicians many additional resources for diagnosing and treating patients,” Jupiter Medical Center Chief of Staff Dr. Chester Maxson said in a news release. “We look forward to working with UM specialists to continually expand expertise to benefit our patients.”
